Bareboating is an unmanned boat rental suitable for experienced sailors with nautical license and it’s the ideal solution for those who want to spend a holiday not only in the pursuit of relax but also for enjoying a unique bareboating experience.

Who opts for a Bareboat cruise needs (in his party) a skipper with a valid licence, good knowledge of board technical systems and VHF licence, in order to organize a pleasant vacation in total safety.

For those who don’t have a sailor friend, Navigare Worldwide offers the possibility to hire a professional skipper and a hostess and chef on request and with an extra fee dependings on the experience and the size of the Motor Bareboat. Nevertheless, care should be taken not to confuse the skipper with captain, because in this case the skipper drives only the boat, and he isn’t obligated to help the guests with the board chores. I case there is only the skipper, the guests have to help him during the mooring.

The main advantage of a bareboat charter is that you are free to enjoy your holiday without having the crew with you… but don’t forget that the standard of service, obviously, changes.

Skippers, Hostess, Stewards, Chefs.

When people charter a Motor Bareboat it is mandatory to submit to Navigare Worldwide all required documents at the check-in, after these formalities, the person who is in charge of the check in explains you how to handle the boat and then you are good to go!

Before leaving, an inventory of all on board will be performed and when returning this list will be checked in order to assure that everything is ok.

A damage deposit is required before embarking. 3.000 – 8.000 euros for charter, it depends on the bareboat size. Navigare Worldwide will charge it by card garatee. A commission may be applyed in case of damage.

Unlike a crewed yacht, the bareboat doesn’t include any food and beverage on board.

After the check-in, customers should be able to organize everything, doing the galley and all the usual preparations before to weigh anchor.
